In your day-to-day work as a designer, what do you enjoy most about the creative process? Is there something that never tires you or always keeps you motivated to keep exploring?

I’m a bit of a perfectionist, to be honest. I always think what I’m doing could be better. That’s why what I enjoy most is refining solutions and exploring multiple variations to see how an idea evolves. My worktables within a document are practically endless, and often the changes are imperceptible to most people, haha. Over time I’ve also learned that “perfect is the enemy of good,” and that it’s better to deliver solid work on time than to chase a perfection that never arrives. When you work with clients, deadlines define how far you can take a project, and that also has a positive side because you learn to optimize processes and find smart shortcuts to get as close as possible to the result you want within that timeframe. Even so, I have to admit I really enjoy that process.

    Reinaldo Camejo

I’m Reinaldo Camejo, a graphic designer from Cuba currently part of the team at Folch in Barcelona. My work moves between visual identity, typography, and art direction, exploring the dialogue between form, space, and communication. I studied Visual Design at ELISAVA (Barcelona School of Design and Engineering) and have also collaborated with studios such as Pràctica, experiences that shaped how I approach design from both conceptual and strategic perspectives. I’m a perfectionist by nature, but I’ve learned that “perfect” can be the enemy of “good.” What I truly enjoy is refining ideas, pushing them forward, and finding intelligent shortcuts that bring a project as close as possible to what it wants to become. Design, for me, is a process of learning and adaptation, a space where curiosity, reflection, and dialogue are essential. Every project is an opportunity to explore new ways of thinking visually, to balance rigor with intuition, and to keep evolving as both a designer and a person.
