We will explore the basic concepts and key AI tools applied to design and art direction. We'll review inspiring examples and case studies that demonstrate how AI can enhance the creative process. Additionally, we’ll introduce the course project: designing a vinyl cover.

Session 2: Visual generation and exploration
You will learn how to use AI to create images and develop unique visual styles. We’ll dive into prompting techniques and experiment with initial ideas for the vinyl cover, guiding you through the exploration of different visual approaches.

Session 3: Application and refinement
We’ll work on composition and design testing, using tools like AI-powered Photoshop for editing and retouching. We’ll support you in integrating the final design elements, refining every detail of the project.

To make the most of this course, you’ll need a computer with an internet connection and access to AI tools (we’ll provide recommendations). While optional, having image editing software like Photoshop is highly recommended to refine your designs.
